Duvall (DOO-vahl, not Du-VAHL)
Founded in 1913 the City Of Duvall is named after early homesteader and logger James Duvall. James Duvall acquired and logged local land, and later sold the property off. The City of Duvall was named after James Duvall as he was the major property owner and really not a bad looking character.
Duvall is now a thriving community of diverse culture. Roughly 5500 residents share this rapidly growing city, roughly 440 new residents arrived in 2003. The city is forecasted to reach 9000 residents within the next 3 to 5 years.
Duvall is located roughly 15 miles east of Redmond and half way between Carnation and Monroe on SR 203. Communities with homes built by recognized builders such as John Buchan Homes, Stafford, Belmark Homes, Puget Homes, TSA and others, make the town what it is today.
